About Me
I am a freelance illustrator with experience of most areas of illustration. I trained at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design. When I began most of my work was for magazines encompassing lots of different subjects including food, science, travel and business. I have illustrated numerous cards and designed wrapping paper for various companies including Roger La Borde and Peaceable Kingdom Press in the USA.
The cards led on to the books and I was lucky enough to be approached by Orchard Books who published my first illustrated book – The Arabian Nights. Since then I have mainly worked within children’s books and over the years with most of the major publishers. After about 20 years in London I moved to Cornwall with my partner and young children and now I can see the sea from the window!
